Dr. Weinstein, a board certified plastic surgeon, has recently been selected as one of "The Top Doctors in the New York Metro Area" for his expertise in Cosmetic Plastic Surgery. Dr. Weinstein has an aesthetic plastic surgical practice devoted to helping people improve body image. Dr. Larry Weinstein was born in Brooklyn, NYC New York. He attended PS 208 and the ESP program at PS 236 on Avenue D and Avenue U in Brooklyn, NYC NY. He graduated Roy H Mann Junior high School and James Madison High School in Brooklyn, NYC New York. At Syracuse University in Syracuse, New York Dr. Weinstein was active in the University Senate and was acknowledged on the Dean's List. After graduating Syracuse University he attended The University Autonoma in Jalisco, Mexico before completing his medical degree training at the Mount Sinai school of Medicine in New York, NY. During his third year of surgical training Dr. Weinstein was at Columbia University's Presbyterian Hospital in New York, NY, Columbia University's Babies Hospital in New York, NY, Cornell University's Sloan Kettering Memorial Hospital in New York, NY and at that time Columbia University's Morristown Memorial Hospital. Larry Weinstein, MD continued his surgical training under Ames Filipone, MD FACS at Columbia University's Morristown Memorial Hospital. Dr. Weinstein was privileged to spend a year of Oncologic Surgery and Reconstructive Surgery at Cornell University's Sloan Kettering Memorial Hospital in New York, NY. He gained expertise in Breast Reconstruction with Tissue expanders and was part of the team to use the first tissue expander for breast reconstruction at SKCC Memorial Hospital in New York, NY. Dr. Weinstein worked with Marty Kessler, MD, Ted Chaglasian, MD as a team performing one of the first TRAM (tummy) flaps for autogenous breast reconstruction at SKCC Memorial Hospital in New York, NY.

Dr. Weinstein performed award winning research on the effects of tissue expanders on breast cancer and Melanoma growth in experimental models that were presented at Harvard University's Amphitheater at the Massachusetts Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts. Larry Weinstein MD FACS completed his Plastic (Cosmetic) and Reconstructive surgery training at the State University of New York SUNY's Kings County Hospital in Brooklyn, NYC New York. Since completing his plastic surgery training he has maintained a private practice in the picturesque lush hills of Chester Township, New Jersey. His office is at the Architectural Award winning Chester Woods Professional Park in Morris County. He had an epiphany when he decided to open in this rural suburban area as he had just won an award from the American Society of Plastic Surgery for his research of tissue expanders in their relation to breast Cancer and Melanoma.
