Dr. Schulman is among the most experienced Plastic Surgeons in New York which gives him the know-how and experience to correct or improve on the results of unsuccessful plastic surgery performed by other doctors. Dr. Schulman has the most experience in breast reconstruction in New York using the newest, highly cohesive silicone implants. There is no measurable leakage from them. Dr. Schulman is Director of Plastic Surgery at Lenox Hill Hospital which, since its merge with Manhattan Eye and Ear Hospital, has the largest plastic surgical service in the county, as well as the largest cosmetic teaching service. Regarding reconstructive surgery, Dr. Schulman has performed a greater volume of skin cancer repair than any other surgeon in New York. Thanks to his Head and Neck Cancer training at the New York State Cancer Hospital in Buffalo, New York, he is able to treat any and all defects, most particularly the defects of Moh’s Surgery.
